The Downtown Kenosha Small Business Window Decorating Contest continues through Dec. 20.
Businesses are encouraged to decorate their storefronts to bring creativity and cheer to downtown Kenosha this holiday season. The local business receiving the most votes wins a $500 grand prize.
The winner will be announced on Monday, Dec. 21.
Online voting is underway. One lucky voter will receive a $50 gift card to be used at any downtown business.
The Kenosha Public Market, 620 59th St., wraps up its Holiday Market this weekend (Dec. 12-13). Over 40 booths are expected from local farmers and artisans.
Downtown Kenosha is offering a variety of gift cards available for purchase, according to Kenosha Public Market board member Gretchen Covelli.
“The (Holiday Market) has gone really well,” Covelli said. “We offer a variety of vendors with local produce and gift options. The turnout has been great.”
