Celebrating 5 years of Grace Welcome Center
Friday (May 13)
Community-wide event presented Harborside Academy at two locations, Grace Welcome Center 2006 60th Ave. and Reuther Auditorium, 913 57th St.
3-5 p.m. Grace Welcome Center volunteer-led tours, family friendly activity/kids carnival, art display and spaghetti dinner, $10 (also good for concert admission).
5-6 p.m. To Serve Mankind Near and Far presentation by the students and local dignitaries.
7 p.m (doors open 6 p.m.) “Lovin’ Loud” concert featuring Lunde and Ben Mulwana, Reuther Auditorium.
All proceeds from this day directly go towards supporting the Uptown and Columbus Park community, as well as others. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at Grace Welcome Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday or Friday. Concert tickets are also available online.

Lunar Eclipse Party
Sunday (May 15)
Blood Moon partial eclipse begins at 9:30, complete eclipse at 10:30 p.m
Hawthorn Hollow Schoolyard Observatory, 880 Green Bay Rd.
A $20 ticket includes views through multiple telescopes along with a night-time sky tour of other celestial objects as well as scheduled guided night hikes through the nature sanctuary along the Pike River and live music from local band Mountains on the Moon. Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.
