Featuring a weekend full of family friendly fun and unity presented by Juneteenth Core Volunteers. Events include Youth Talent Showcase, Mr. & Miss Juneteenth, and 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. Rain date for the main event is June 20.

“Encanto” opens the summer movie season at Pets, presented by Gruber Law offices. Movies begin at dusk when it is dark enough to see the screen. The movie viewing area is located adjacent to the Petrifying Springs Park Biergarten. Movies are weather dependent. In case of rain, the event will be canceled by 6 p.m. on the day of the event. Admission is free. Parking is available near Area 1. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blanket and chairs. Carry-in alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Make Music Day Block Party hosted by Kenosha Creative Space

Kenosha is proud to be one of over 80 US cities hosting Make Music Day performances as a part of the world’s largest annual music festival. Singers, songwriters, choirs, jazz combos, rock bands, glee clubs, emcees, marching bands, mariachis, and every other kind of musician of any age or skill level are all welcome. Also as part of Make Music Day, classical guitarist will perform at Blue House Books, 5915 6th Ave. A from 3-5 p.m.
