Kenosha Creative Space marked Make Music Day on Tuesday, June 21 with an all-day block party on 57th Street in downtown Kenosha.
It was the third year in a row that a local event was held in conjunction with the global music celebration that is held annually on the summer solstice.
The festivities included live music by a series of local artists, interactive music clinics for people of all ages, food trucks and an open jam session at the end of the night.
Gina and Paul Hoskins of the local band Would You Kindly? coordinated the activities in partnership with the nonprofit Kenosha Creative Space.
Additionally, Blue House Books, Lemon Street Gallery and Rustic Road Brewing Co. also hosted activities in conjunction with the celebration.
The next Make Music Day celebrations will be held locally and globally on June 21, 2023.
