This event is a collaboration between the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra (under the direction of Christopher Ramaekers) and Betsy Ade and the Well-Known Strangers. Opening act Spare Animals 4 p.m., KSO 6-7 p.m. and KSO with Betsy Ade and the Well-Known Strangers 7:30-8:30 p.m.. Admission is free.

The Port of Fear Film Festival

This new film fest highlights the local arts community and businesses while celebrating everything horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and thriller. Films include local high school and college students’ entries in the “5 Minute Horrors” competition, as well as a slate of full-length films and shorts from around the country and world. All-day passes are $35.

Leave No Child Inside: Frogs & Toads, Oh My!

Family 

Leave No Child Inside: Frogs & Toads, Oh My!, 10-11 a.m., Pringle Nature Center, 9800 160th Ave., Bristol. Families will learn about the amphibious residents of Bristol Woods with nature center staff before heading out to explore our very own frog pond. Children must be accompanied by an adult and pre-registration ($6) is required for all participating individuals.
