Kenosha Achievement Center hosting shred event Saturday

Looking to dispose of your confidential paperwork securely?

Community State Bank, the Kenosha Achievement Center and the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce are partnering with Shred-It for a community shred event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday (Aug. 13) at the KAC, 1218 79th St.

There is a limit of five boxes (or up to 100 pounds total) of shredding per vehicle.

The event is free and open to the public. However, cash donations will be collected to support the Kenosha Achievement Center and the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce.

  • Old bills
  • Credit card statements
  • Bank statements
  • Legal papers
  • Income tax files
  • Medical records
  • Credit card apps
  • Financial records

Participants are asked to remain in their vehicles. Volunteers are staff will be present to help direct vehicles. Volunteers will also help remove the materials from your vehicle.
