Experience the wonders of the cosmos during what is often called the best meteor shower in our region! Participants will have the opportunity to learn about this summer phenomenon and how best to view it before spending the evening stargazing under the dark sky in Bristol Woods. No registration required, and admission is “pay what you wish.” Minors must be accompanied by an adult. In the event of clouds or adverse weather, the program will be rescheduled for Friday (Aug. 12).

In our area, spectators can expect to see the greatest number of meteors during the shower’s peak between Aug. 11-12 this year, according to the American Meteor Society (AMS). Enjoy the display in zero gravity chairs. Tickets are $12, separate registration required for Session 1 or Session 2.
