“We are very excited to announce our Season Ticket Packages for our teams that will compete in De Simone Arena this upcoming year,” Athletics Marketing and Ticketing Coordinator Robyn Elliott said. “Last year was our first year offering assigned seats in our Arena, and this year we look forward to packing the Den, starting with volleyball in the fall! If you haven’t experienced Division II Athletics, then come out to Parkside — We are Wisconsin’s NCAA Division II University.”

Parkside’s fall sports will have a busy schedule, starting a week earlier than normal due to this being a Festival Year for NCAA Division II. Division II is the only NCAA division that conducts “National Championships Festivals,” Olympic-style events in which a number of national championships are held at a single site, this year in Seattle, Wash., over several days.

Volleyball hosts the Hampton Inn Invitational on Sept. 2-3 in De Simone Arena, marking the fourth year that the Rangers have hosted the Invitational. On Sept. 2, the Rangers will take on Illinois Springfield at 11 a.m. and Upper Iowa at 7 p.m. Parkside begins Day 2 at 1 p.m. against Minnesota-Crookston followed by a 7 p.m. match against McKendree University.

This year, Parkside Athletics has many group opportunities available to the public, including hosting parties of up to 45 people in the Educators Credit Union Suite or bringing a smaller group to The Bear Club to cheer on your Rangers just steps from the action.

For groups of 10 or more, please call or email Robyn at 262-595-2246 or elliottr@uwp.edu, for assistance with your order. Catering is available in our suite areas along with optional add-ons for an improved experience for your group.

For our outdoor sports, Parkside men’s soccer returns hungry to compete for another GLIAC championship after winning both the regular season and GLIAC Tournament last fall with their first home game slated for Aug. 25 at noon. The women’s soccer team will begin their season on Aug. 27 as the Rangers take on Lewis at noon. Parkside cross country hosts the Vic Godfrey Open on Sept. 2 at 5 p.m., starting off an exciting year for the team as they look forward to hosting the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championships in November.
