Cosmic Bowling isn’t just for the kids. Parents enjoy it, too, but they may not want to stay up late enough at night to do it.
Guttormsen Recreation Center, 5411 Green Bay Rd., has a solution for that.
GRC is currently offering two shifts of Cosmic Bowling on Friday nights, one from 7 to 9 p.m. — called Family Cosmic Night Out — and another from 9:30 p.m. to midnight.
The Family Cosmic Night Out features two options: two hours of bowling, shoes, a one-topping pizza and a pitcher of soda for $70 for up to six bowlers; or, two hours of bowling and shoes for $55 for up to six people.
Either option is a great way for families to enjoy the lights and high-energy atmosphere of Cosmic Bowling without having to stay up quite so late.
“They can come have a pizza with their kids and be home before 10 at night,” says GRC owner John Guttormsen.
Following the Family Cosmic Night Out on Fridays at GRC is the regular Cosmic Bowling, which costs $70 for 2.5 hours of bowling and shoes, for up to six bowlers.
GRC also offers Cosmic Bowling on Saturday nights from 9:30 p.m. to midnight for the same fee of $70 for 2.5 hours of bowling and shoes, for up to six bowlers.
Birthday party packages
Additionally, GRC offers great packages for birthday parties, an especially attractive option as the weather turns colder and partying becomes an indoor activity.
GRC offers four birthday packages:
