The Parkside volleyball team competed at the Midwest Region Crossover Tournament last weekend in Hammond, Ind. The Rangers went 1-2 in the tournament, but came away with something to celebrate. The Parkside single-game kills record was broken by Reese Rossnagel, our Kenosha.com Ranger of the Week.
Rossnagel tallied a record-breaking 31 kills in the Rangers’ win over McKendree in their tournament opener. That broke the previous record of 26 kills in 2013. Rossnagel came back on Saturday and collected another 23 kills against Ohio Dominican, enough to tie for 10th place on the Parkside all-time list for kills in a single game.
We sat down with the Las Vegas native and two-time Kenosha.com Ranger of the Week to learn more about her interests, both on and off the volleyball court.
