Modern Apothecary will be opening its doors at its new location, 5700 6th Ave., on Monday, Feb. 20.
The current location at 4924 7th Ave. will be open to the public through Wednesday (Feb. 15), On Thursday and Friday (Feb. 16-17), the pharmacy will be available for curbside pick-ups and offering free home delivery within the normal delivery areas.
The pharmacy and front-of-store will be closed on Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 18-19) for the move.
“We are thrilled to be moving to a larger, more centrally located downtown location,” Modern Apothecary owner and pharmacist Erin Merritt said.
“We have loved our current location but have been looking for a bigger space for several years now as we have continued to grow. Modern Apothecary will continue to offer prescriptions and current goods and services, while being able to expand our patient care areas to offer exciting new opportunities to serve our patients and community.”
Modern Apothecary has been offering traditional prescription dispensing, immunizations, prescription compounding (making custom prescriptions for specific patient needs), professional supplements and consultations since 2014.
