A variety of beer, food trucks and live music is headed to Kenosha’s lakefront for the three-day Pop-up Biergarten Thursday through Saturday (June 15-17) at HarborPark’s Celebration Place, 5501 Ring Road.
The free event takes place 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday and noon to 9 p.m. Saturday.
Curt Foreman, president and owner of BrewFest Partners, brought back the event following a successful 2022 debut.
Approximately 1,000 people attended each day last year, according to Foreman.
“It’s set on a wonderful property where you can see the lake and the harbor on each side,” Foreman said. “It’s a great combination of beer, food and camaraderie.”
The event features traditional German beer, craft beer, wine and ciders in addition to a full slate of area food trucks from 4 to 9 p.m on Thursday and Friday and noon to 9 p.m. Saturday (schedule below).
Live music is provided by the Steve Schultz Band from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sipos and Young from 6-9 p.m. Friday and Duo Sonic from 6-9 p.m. Saturday.
Visitors are encouraged to sign up for online raffle prizes and a nightly stein-hoisting competition.
Beers include a variety of German imports and a couple local brews on tap.
Kenosha’s Public Craft Brewing is featuring its Weisse City Strawberry Rhubarb and Lake Geneva’s Topsy Turvy Brewery is pouring its Stellar Nova Lotus IPA.
