Visit Pleasant Prairie unveils tour map for annual Christmas holiday lights tour and contest

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI (DECEMBER 2023) – All are invited to join in the holiday spirit of what has quickly become a beloved festive family tradition – the Pleasant Prairie Christmas Holiday Lights Tour and Contest!

Earlier this month, Village residents submitted their decorated and lighted-up properties. All residents who submitted their home were invited to attend a VIP Tour Kickoff Event, complete with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, that took place on Tuesday, December 12 as a thank you for their participation.

The tour stops have been curated to highlight the best of the homes that were submitted, as well as neighborhoods and routes that festively light up the night sky for drive-by enjoyment as tour-goers vote on their favorite homes from December 12-26. Both the map and voting can be found on the Visit Pleasant Prairie Christmas Holiday Lights Tour webpage.

NEW THIS YEAR

Every individual who votes will be entered for the chance to win a $100 gift card to a local business and a Visit Pleasant Prairie prize package! The top five voted homes and all giveaway winners will be announced on December 30.

TOUR OVERVIEW

The tour’s final list features 28 homes, a dozen of those is first-time tour stops, each showcasing a stunning array of holiday decorations. Among the highlights are towering 30-foot inflatables, a front yard covered with a collection of vintage Holiday décor, and two homes featuring flashing light displays synchronized to holiday music. The variety of festive elements along the tour will captivate visitors of all ages.

The tour takes approximately 80 minutes from start to finish, and it is highly recommended to follow the curated tour list in order. The tour list has also been segmented into three smaller groups via Google Maps, each taking between 20-30 minutes to complete, and can be enjoyed at everyone’s own pace!
