Good Friday and Easter Sunday with First Christian Church in Kenosha

Good Friday Experience, March 29th, 6-8pm

This interactive, self-guided sensory experience will take you and your family on a journey of what Jesus went through during his final hours leading up to His death on the cross. The 8 stations are setup throughout our church building and will be a time of learning, reflecting, and growing in our understanding of Jesus’ journey to the cross. All ages are welcome.

Easter Sunday Worship, March 31st, 10am

Join us on Easter Sunday as we celebrate the risen Savior.  We’ll celebrate loudly, and joyfully as the grave has no hold on Christ and Christ has his hold on hope.

Both events will be held at our church:

Community Outreach

First Christian Church is the home to the Foster Closet. The Foster Closet’s primary goal is to support foster families by supplying the first week of basic physical needs for foster children when they are placed in a new home.  Each child gets a bag with the basics of clothing, shoes, and other various items that are brand new and theirs to keep. On average, the Foster Closet provides 8-10 bags a month for kids in our community.

We also serve with Feed My Starving Children in Libertyville, Il twice a month, where a group from our church goes and packs bags of food for children all over the world.  Another local ministry that we serve with is Sleep in Heavenly Peace, which builds, delivers, or sets up beds for kids in our community.
