2024 Success Fair is set for Friday, June 7

Now seeking employers to share resources at the fair

United Way of Kenosha County is committed to connecting diverse voices and maximizing resources to collectively strengthen and uplift Kenosha County.

Equus Workforce Solutions, Southeastern Wisconsin Workforce Development Board, and United Way of Kenosha County are excited to team up for the 2024 Success Fair on Friday, June 7. The event, which will take place at the Kenosha Job Center (8600 Sheridan Road) from 1-3 p.m., will showcase the many available job opportunities and resources our community has to offer. Employers across the construction, healthcare, hospitality, human services, IT, manufacturing, and transportation industries are encouraged to register on United Way of Kenosha County’s website no later than Friday, May 24th.

At the Success Fair, community members can expect to learn more about resources relating to food assistance, public benefit assistance, insurance, healthcare, childcare, veteran outreach, and career services.

“It remains important for businesses to come together in service of our community,” says Bobby Nash, Equus Workforce Solutions and event co-organizer. “The 2024 Success Fair serves as an opportunity for community members and individuals to connect with employers and other organizations who might have relevant job opportunities or other local resources available.”

The 2024 Success Fair is sponsored in partnership by Equus Workforce Solutions, Southeastern Wisconsin Workforce Development Board, and United Way of Kenosha County.

“At United Way of Kenosha County, fostering financial stability is at the core of our mission,” says Carolynn Friesch, CEO at United Way of Kenosha County and event co-organizer. “We are proud to be partnering with Equus Workforce Solutions and Southeastern WORKs for the 2024 Success Fair as the event resonates deeply with our commitment to empowering individuals and families towards economic well-being.”

A complete list of participating vendors will be available at least two weeks before the event.

Previously participating businesses and organizations included Office of Veteran Employment Services, Kenosha County Behavioral Health Services, Women and Children’s Horizons, Professional Services Group- Families First, Kenosha County Public Health, PSN Family Resource Center, Shalom Center, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, Spanish Center, Kenosha Unified School District, KAFASI, Lakeside Curative Services/ LCS, Gateway Technical College, Kenosha Fire Department, and more.

Employers will have the opportunity to network with other businesses in the community and hear from workforce professionals about key issues and solutions to leading impactful teams, including adding talent to the pipeline.

Businesses and/or organizations can register as a Vendor by visiting kenoshaunitedway.org/employer-successfair. A vendor “booth” costs $95 and includes two boxed lunches and beverages as well as a table and two chairs for setup. Nonprofit vendor pricing is available in a limited quantity. Access to electricity is limited. Special requests may be accommodated. The deadline for vendor registration is Friday, May 24th.
