Halloween Movie Night is returning for a second year at Petrifying Springs Park on Saturday, Oct. 26.
Located behind the Petrifying Springs Park Biergarten, the event will kick off at 3 p.m. with free fall-themed games and activities including pumpkin bowling, needle in a haystack and pumpkin painting.
From 3 to 5 p.m., the public is welcome to trick-or-treat with the nonprofits that will be on site. Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services Inc., Pringle Nature Center, UW-Extension and more will be handing out candy and sharing information about their groups and services.
During the event, Frites on the Streets will be onsite selling hot food. Around 5 p.m., there will be a movie showing of “The Addams Family” (1991) on the Kenosha.com advertising truck.
The next special holiday event at Petrifying Springs will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 30, when County Executive Samantha Kerkman will host the second annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
Petrifying Springs Park is located at 5555 Seventh St. (Highway A) in the Village of Somers.
