KAFASI Bowls and Bakers event returns for 2024

Kenosha, WI — [Oct. 31, 2024] — The nonprofit Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services Inc. (KAFASI) is thrilled to announce the 21st Annual Bowls and Bakers event, taking place Nov. 13, 2024, at the Brat Stop Parkway Chateau, located at 12304 75th St., Kenosha. This beloved fundraiser showcases some of the best soups in Kenosha County, featuring local chefs and restaurants committed to providing delicious flavors for a great cause.

Over the past two decades, Bowls and Bakers has become a cornerstone of community support, raising vital funds that directly benefit the seniors and families KAFASI serves. With each spoonful, attendees not only enjoy a delightful culinary experience but also contribute to programs that empower and uplift our community’s most vulnerable members.

“Bowls and Bakers is more than just a soup tasting; it’s a gathering of friends and neighbors coming together to support those in need,” said Ron Tatum, KAFASI Executive Director. “This event has significantly impacted the lives of many, allowing us to provide essential services and resources that promote health and well-being for our clients.”

The funds raised during Bowls and Bakers will support KAFASI’s programs, which include meal delivery, transportation services, and health and wellness initiatives. By participating in this event, sponsors and attendees play a crucial role in ensuring that our services remain accessible to all who need them.
