Kenosha.com’s Pet of the Week: Duke!

A 2-year-old pup looking for a home that will give him plenty of attention

By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

Meet Duke – a handsome, brindle boy available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. This energetic and happy pup is 2 years old and weighs 57 pounds. Duke would love to find a home where he gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Although he can be cautious around new people and in new environments, Duke is a friendly and loving guy ready to find his new family. Like all dogs at WHS, he’s been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. If you’re interested in meeting Duke, stop by the WHS Kenosha Campus during adoption hours or visit www.wihumane.org/adopt for more information.
