Kenosha.com’s Pet of the Week: Joey!

A 6-year-old pup who loves life

By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

Joey is a big, handsome 6-year-old pup ready for his new home and available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. This friendly guy weighs a whopping 113 pounds and enjoys being with people and sharing his love of life. Like all dogs at WHS, he’s been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped – plus, he goes home with a certificate for a free vet exam and starter bag of food. If you’ve got room in your heart and home for a supersized pooch, stop by the WHS Kenosha Campus during adoption hours to meet Joey or visit www.wihumane.org/adopt to learn more.
