Kenosha.com’s Pet of the Week: Red

A happy 2-year-old pup looking for a loving home

By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

Red is a sweet and gentle 2-year-old pup looking for a loving family and available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. This gorgeous girl weighs 63 pounds, enjoys going for long walks, and does very well on a leash. Red would do best in a home where she can shine as the only pet, and she promises to be a wonderful companion. Like all dogs at WHS, she’s been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped – plus, her adoption fee is only $75 and includes a certificate for a free vet exam and a starter bag of food. Stop by the WHS Kenosha Campus during adoption hours to meet Red and see if she’s a great fit for you or visit www.wihumane.org/adopt to learn more.
