Kenosha.com’s Pet of the Week: Layla

An adorable 1-year-old pup looking for her forever home

By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

Layla is a beautiful 1-year-old pup available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. This playful girl weighs 38 pounds and has a soft brindle coat and soulful brown eyes. Layla is energetic and social and would do well in a home where she can get plenty of play time and walks. Like all dogs at WHS, she’s been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped so she’s all set to meet her new family. To meet Layla and see if she’s a great fit for you, stop by the WHS Kenosha Campus during adoption hours or visit www.wihumane.org/adopt to learn more.
