Hello, readers!

Have you attended one of our author events yet? If not, this weekend is the perfect time! We have two fantastic author events that we’re thrilled to share!

On Saturday, March 8th, Elle Cosimano, New York Times bestselling author of the Finlay Donovan series, will be in Kenosha to talk about her latest book, Finlay Donovan Digs Her Own Grave! Elle will be joined by Wisconsin author Hannah Morrissey (Hello, Transcriber) at 6 p.m. at the Rhode Center for the Arts (514 56th St.), where the two authors will talk about the sleuthing in their mystery novels! The authors will also be taking questions from the audience and signing books!

The Finlay Donovan series is a fun series about a novelist who is mistaken for a contract killer when she is discussing her latest novel in public! Of course, chaos ensues, and with each installment, Finlay gets herself into more and more trouble. Check out the Finlay Donovan books here.

Then on Sunday, March 9th, join Wisconsin authors Christina Clancy and Rowan Beaird (The Divorcees) as they discuss Christina’s new novel The Snowbirds! This event will take place at Church & Market in Downtown Kenosha (701 56th St.) at 2 p.m., and both authors will also be available for a Q&A with the audience and book signing!

Perfect for fans of mystery novels and women’s fiction, The Snowbirds follows an on-again, off-again middle aged couple on their latest excursion to Florida to beat the Midwestern winter. After yet another fight, one half of the pair goes for a hike–and then goes missing. Did he really and truly leave his partner this time, running away with no goodbye, or is he missing under more sinister circumstances?

Blue House Books customers absolutely LOVE Christina’s previous two novels–Shoulder Season and Second Home–and we are so thrilled to welcome her back to Kenosha for another fantastic event!

We have a ton more events on our events calendar, with more being added frequently, so be sure to check in with us often to see what exciting event you can attend next!
