Bestselling author Hannah Morrissey celebrating book release in Kenosha

Hello, readers!

Blue House Books is so excited to be hosting crime fiction author Hannah Morrissey in Kenosha to celebrate the release of The Unlucky Ones at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 24th at Upper East, 622 58th Street in Downtown Kenosha.

Hannah, a Wisconsin native and local to Southeast Wisconsin, will be joined by fellow mystery writer Charlie Donlea (Twenty Years Later) to talk about book four in the Black Harbor series, a collection of books that take place in the fictional town of Black Harbor Wisconsin, where the crime lords reign. During the event, Hannah will give us an inside look at the newest crime making headlines in Black Harbor, and all the characters from the previous books who are on the case. Excited fans will also get a murder board demonstration, where Hannah will show how she plans the gruesome plotlines in her books.

As always at Blue House Books events, readers will be able to ask Hannah about her books during the live Q&A session, and get books signed by both authors! We will have giveaways, a friendship bracelet station, and so much more at the event!

I absolutely love the Black Harbor series and The Unlucky Ones  is Hannah’s best novel yet! We have been hosting Hannah’s release parties for the last few years, and she has fiercely loyal readers in Southeastern, Wisconsin, where she has been living for the last few years. Her books are dark and gritty, just what our thriller readers love! She is known to be a writer of Midwestern noir, giving her books that classic investigator mystery storyline, set right here in Southeastern Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Hannah’s previous novel When I’m Dead was selected for the popular book subscription program Book of the Month, and her novels are constant bestsellers at Blue House Books.

The event is ticketed and includes a copy of The Unlucky Ones which will be signed by the author. More books from Morrissey and Donlea will be available for purchase at the event, as well as a Black Harbor merch table. Readers can head to the Blue House Books website to get their tickets.

Stay tuned for more event announcements and other bookish news coming soon!
