Kenosha.com’s Pet of the Week: Mikey

A friendly and outgoing 5-year-old pup looking for a home!

By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

Meet Mikey – a wonderful 5-year-old pup looking for a loving home and available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. He’s a handsome 54-pound boy with an adorable speckled black and white coat and sweet floppy ears. Mikey is friendly and social, enjoys playing outside, and would love to snuggle up and get cozy with you. Like all dogs at WHS, he’s been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped – plus, his adoption fee as a Benchwarmer is just $25! If you’re interested in meeting Mikey to see if he’s a great fit for you, stop by the WHS Kenosha Campus during adoption hours or visit www.wihumane.org/adopt to learn more.
