Kenosha.com’s Pet of the Week: Lapis

An adorable 1-year-old pup looking for a family to love him!

By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

Lapis is a 1-year-old pup looking for a loving home where he can be part of the family. This sweet boy weighs 60 pounds, has a handsome black and white coat, and an adorable head tilt when posing for photos. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. Lapis would love to share his toys and snuggles with you. If you’d like to meet this awesome pooch and see if he’s a great fit for you, stop by the WHS Kenosha Campus during adoption hours or visit www.wihumane.org/adopt to learn more.
