Jean “Jeanie” Campagna-Bierwirth, 72 years old lifelong resident of Kenosha, WI passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House, Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Jeanie was born December 13, 1948, the daughter of the late Margaret LaDonna Raffin. She was raised by her mother Donna and stepfather Albert Raffin.
She lived in Kenosha and attended Kenosha schools, becoming a business owner of George’s Tavern in her early-adult life. Jeanie was a member of The Tavern League of Wisconsin and made many friends through her business. She loved to shoot pool and underhand dartboard and has many trophies to prove it. After closing the doors to George’s, Jeanie took a break from ownership and worked at a few local places. Due to Jeanie’s strong business skills and doing things her way, being an “employee” wasn’t cutting it. In her mid-adult years Jeanie opened up Shooters Bar & Grill where she stayed until her retirement.
Jeanie met the love of her life, Donald “Terry” Bierwirth and together they bought a home in Las Vegas, NV; where they spent most of their latter years. They loved spending time with their good friends, gambling, and enjoyed fine dining. Jeanie and Terry both loved nice vehicles.
Jeanie will be missed by her daughter, Kelley Soderberg; her future son-in-law, Tony Fani, whom she loved to argue politics with; and her one and only granddaughter, her absolute pride and joy – Kloe Soderberg. Jeanie is further survived by her brother, Ken (Nikki) Campagna of Las Vegas, NV; nephews, Paul (Kristine) Campagna of Kenosha, WI, Brian (Jennifer) Campagna of California, and Ryan Campagna of Chicago, IL. Jeanie will be missed by so many.
In addition to her parents, Jeanie was preceded in death by her husband Terry Bierwirth.
A celebration of Jeanie’s life will be held at a later date.
