Ralph Serpe, 81, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon June 27, 2021, at Casa Del Mar.
Born in Kenosha on August 8, 1939, he was the son of the late Frank M. and Carmella (Caputo) Serpe. He was a lifelong resident and attended local schools.
In 1963, he enrolled in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1965. Ralph went on to work for Chrysler Automotive where he rose to the position of Superintendent. He retired in 1988 after 31 years with the company. He was a member of the Italian American Society, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion, and the VFW. He loved playing Bocce Ball and attending all sporting events.
Ralph is survived by three nephews, Ray Nehl, Donald Hause, and Dennis Hause; three nieces, Debbie DeRose, Louanne (Wayne) Wald, and Laura (Charles) Askew; two great nieces; four great nephews; 11 great-great nieces and nephews; and his friend and ex-wife, Elaine Serpe.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jessie Serpe and Margaret Hause; and two brothers, Louis and Frank Serpe.
Services were held privately at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery with full military honors.
