Antonette O’Neal (Nena) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 17th, 2021 at the age of 90 years old. She was reunited with her loving husband, Robert.
Nena was born in Kenosha on December 30th, 1930 to the loving parents Wilson & Catherine (Savaglio) Dezoma. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Bradford High School. Nena married the love of her life, Robert O’Neal, on September 26th, 1953. She worked for Otto Nelson moving company for many years, but her all-time favorite job was being a Grandma to her “Princess” & “Lil Man.” Nena was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church and the Danish Sisterhood. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her family.
Nena is survived by her pride & joy, her son, Brian (Kathy), and her grandchildren, Brianna (Ben) & Jacob (Emily), who were her sunshine. She loved them as much as life itself and she will be missed by them dearly. Nena was devoted to her family and always put them first. Nena was a giver and never expected anything in return. Nena is also survived by her sisters, Diane (Larry) Williams and Christine (Gene) Marema.
Nena was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert, her brothers Wilson, Mike, and Joe, & her sisters Mary and Tanya.
A heartfelt thank you to those who helped us keep Nena at home all these years. Especially Emily, Abbie, Julie, Aimee, & Samantha who gave countless hours of their love and time. We could not have done it without you.
A visitation will be held on Saturday August 21, 2021 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 4:30PM-6:30PM, with funeral services to follow at 6:30PM.
