Robert F. Young, 71, formerly of Kenosha, late of Caledonia, passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Woods of Caledonia.
He was born on July 9, 1950 to the late Francis and Edith (Englund) Young in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. He received his Master’s Degree in Engineering from Lake County, IL.
Robert married Ruth Larsen and had two sons Robert II and Raymond. They later divorced.
Robert worked at OMC becoming BRP as the Vice President Director of Engineering for many years.
Robert was the ultimate Packers fan and enjoyed golfing and bowling. He loved the boating industry and had a passion for Evinrude and Johnson Motors. Robert was a kind-hearted man who enjoyed helping everyone.
Robert is survived by his son Robert Young II and Raymond (Tonya Davis) Young, his grandchildren Tyler and Wyatt and his siblings Janice Young, Sherry Fox and Walter “Butch” Litz.
He is preceded in death by his twin brother Ron and a grandson Robert Young III.
Funeral Services for Robert will be held on Friday, October 22nd at 10:00 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.at the funeral home and again on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
