Sean Parker, 48, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021, unexpectedly at his home.
Sean was born on August 2, 1973, in Waukegan, IL, the son of Dennis Parker and Kathy Stevens. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Sean was employed as a hairstylist in Kenosha for many years, most recently at Hair International. Sean loved being behind the chair and making his clients feel special and beautiful, and he was undoubtedly one of the best colorists around! Sean also spent a couple of years sharing his talent and passion for hair with students at Vici Beauty School in Milwaukee. He was so proud of all his students and thoroughly enjoyed watching them flourish and grow. He touched the lives of so many with not only his talent, but also with his gigantic smile that could light up any room, his contagious laugh, his witty humor, and most importantly, his kind heart. While none of us will ever forget his larger-than-life laugh, he will be missed more than words can express. When Sean wasn’t busy making the world more beautiful with his talents, he enjoyed taking in the beauty of the world. Sean loved being outdoors, jogging, hiking, and climbing Balance Rock at Devils Lake, which was one of his favorite scenic views. Sean also had a passion for really good food, both eating and cooking with friends. Sean was known for his amazing egg rolls, sloppy joes, burritos, and many other specialties! If he wasn’t cooking or spending time outdoors, you would most likely find Sean at a concert. He loved his music, and the anticipation of the next concert was almost as exciting as the concert itself for Sean.
Sean was preceded in death by his mom, Kathy, his maternal grandparents, and his brother, Shane Parker.
Left to mourn the loss of Sean are several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and the many special friends that Sean considered family.
A celebration of a life will be held on Sunday, October 24, at the Woman’s Club of Kenosha, 6028 8th Ave. Visitation will be held from 4 pm until a memorial service, which will take place at 5 pm. In an effort to keep everyone safe, masks are encouraged. In lieu of flowers, we have established the Sean Parker Scholarship Fund to assist students at Vici Beauty School with education costs. The Sean Parker Scholarship Fund can be accessed via GoFundMe.
