Bette Reiter, 95, of Kenosha passed away on October 21, 2021, at The Manor of Kenosha.
Bette was born on January 22, 1926, in Whitehall, IL, the daughter of the late Carl and Irene (Gillingham) Ballard. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Bette was employed as a sales rep for Avon and Tupperware. Her hobbies included singing, painting, knitting, crocheting, collecting photos, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Kathy (Sam) Pulera of Pleasant Prairie, Roger (Sherry) Reiter of Kenosha; sister Phyllis Brandt of Kenosha; also included are her 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild on the way.
Bette was preceded in death by her parents, 2 ex-husbands, children, Ronald and Jodie infancy, 2 sons, Richard Reiter, Dennis Dowell, and grandson, Dorian Dowell.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
