Richard Glenn Tetzlaff 84, of Kenosha passed away on Sunday November 7, 2021, at North Point Senior Living Center.
Richard was born on February 9, 1937, in Kenosha, the son of Arthur and Gertrude (Funk) Tetzlaff. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Richard married Miriam Siemion on February 11, 1961 at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Kenosha. Richard was employed for many years at May Beverages as a delivery man then sales rep. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. His hobbies included working on cars in his younger years, doing home improvements on his home, reading, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Richard was a sweet man who will be remembered for his kind spirit and sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh.
Survivors include his wife, Miriam Tetzlaff of Kenosha; children, Michelle (Randy) Henken of Burnett, WI, Thomas Tetzlaff of Kenosha, Catherine (Jim) Larsen of Eau Claire, Julie (Jeff) Tetzlaff-Smith of Kenosha; 6 grandchildren, Brad Henken, Abby (Bryce) Daane, Samantha Tetzlaff, Stephanie (Mitch) Miner, Jake (Lauren) Larsen, Allie (fiancé-Mike Neary) Larsen; and 2 great-grandchildren on the way.
The family is grateful for the care given to Richard by the staff of North Point.
A visitation will be held on Saturday November 13, 2021 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church from 10:00AM-11:00AM, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00AM. Burial St. Casimir Cemetery.
