Hawthorn Hollow holding a wreath-making workshop Dec. 11-12

Limited spots open for each class session

By HAWTHORN HOLLOW NATURE SANCTUARY AND ARBORETUM

Hawthorn Hollow grew out of love for the land. As a nature sanctuary and arboretum, Hawthorn Hollow has been connecting people and nature through environmental education for more than 50 years. Walking trails invite visitors to explore a 12-acre arboretum, the woodlands of the Pike River Valley, prairies, gardens, and historic buildings of Somers’ past. Hawthorn Hollow is owned and operated by the Hyslop Foundation, Inc., a non-profit 501 c3 organization formed in 1964.

Get in the holiday spirit by creating your very own wreath!

Made from fresh Yew branches and assorted evergreens from Hawthorn Hollow, your original wreaths are sure to be a unique and beautiful addition to your home this season.

On Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 11-12 at noon, these workshops will be held indoors at our Hyslop Nature Center with 15 spots open for each class session.

Tickets are $30 and include assistance during the class, materials, and your very own 14-inch wreath to take home. Pre-registration is required. Tickets and information can be found at Hawthornhollow.org. Please contact Kailyn@hawthornhollow.org with any questions or if there is interest in a private workshop for 10+ attendees.
