Helen Klicko, 80, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, February 5, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on March 19, 1941 to the late Johann and Adeline (Reinhardt) Weiss in Germany.
She married Gordon Klicko in Kenosha. He preceded her in death in May of 2002.
Helen worked full time throughout Kenosha and Racine, supporting her family for many years. She was a caring, hardworking woman.
Helen enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone who came to her house and would say “eat, eat”. She enjoyed going up north with her husband and daughters. Most of all, she loved taking care of her family.
Helen is survived by her daughters Julie Klicko Celebre, Christine (Paul) Sloan, Sandra (Billy Bader) Klicko and Jackie Klicko Bach, her six grandchildren, her three great grandchildren, her siblings Edward Janet) Weiss, Paula Rausch and Erna Ogren and her sisters-in-law Kaz Klicko and Audrey McCue. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by a daughter Donna, a son-in-law Mark Celebre and several sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday (TODAY) at 5:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Private burial will take place at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank the staff of Aurora at Home Hospice and caregivers for the loving and compassionate care given to Helen over the past year. A special thanks to Dr. Prakash Shah and his staff for the special care keeping her heart pumping the last 24 years after heart valve replacement surgery.
