David A. Loetz, 72, of Kenosha, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Froedtert South Kenosha Medical Center Campus.
He was born on September 5, 1949 to the late Rodger and Luella (Chartier) Loetz in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Tremper High School.
On April 5, 1975 he married Margaret “Maggie” Krempotic in North Chicago.
David worked at AMC/Chrysler, OMC and as an oven operator for the Zion Cookie Factory.
David is a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.
David enjoyed listening to music and playing the organ, accordion and guitar. He loved going to rummage sales, fishing in his younger years and his 1966 Rambler Classic. David was a kind-hearted, loving and giving man who had a sense of humor.
David is survived by his wife Maggie, his brothers Thomas Loetz and Donald Loetz, his nieces Sherri (Steve) LaFever and Rebecca “Becky” (Don) Birkholz, his great niece Haley LaFever and nephews Tyler LaFever, Dylan Harris-Loetz and Jared Loetz, his aunts Kathy Pomeroy and Betty Lueck, his uncle Bob Lueck, his cousins Cindy Jensen (Jim Thiesenhusen), Joe Lueck and Jack (Marla) Slowey, his dogs Roxy and Buddy and several other close friends and family members.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Marian and Walter Lueck, Joseph Chartier, Mabel Jurca and Bill Loetz, a brother Gary Loetz, sister-in- laws Betty Inman and Linda Loetz and a great nephew Codi Harris-Loetz.
Funeral Services for David will be held on Friday, February 25th at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
