Martina A. Kingwill, age 58, of Pleasant Prairie passed away on Wednesday, March 16th, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Martina was born on January 3rd, 1964 in Chicago to Raymond and Helga Blank. She graduated in 1982 from Main East High School in Niles, IL and from Loyola University in 1986. Martina married James Kingwill on August 31st, 1991 in Glenview, IL. She was employed for many years as an R.N. with Evanston Hospital and most recently with Lake Forest Academy as a school nurse. She was very active in A.A. and she used it to inspire herself to live a better life and be the best person she could be. Martina was a yoga instructor, loved music and collecting crystal balls. She was very into being outdoors, which included running, swimming, biking and kayaking. Martina loved all animals and she helped and gave to charities that took care of animals. Her greatest joy was being with her family.
Martina is survived by, her parents, Raymond and Helga Blank; her husband of 30 years, Jim Kingwill; two children, Christopher and Jessica Kingwill; a brother-in-law, Baird (Beth) Kingwill; her sister-in-law, Stephanie (Tom) Winter as well as nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
A celebration of Martina’s life will be held later this year.
