Darlene F. Peterson, 83, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Monday, March 28, 2022 at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Medical Center.
She was born on June 17, 1938 to the late Edgar and Sophia (Patz) Smoot in Casco, WI. She was educated in Coleman, WI.
On June 30, 1956 she married Alvin A. Peterson in Menominee, MI. He preceded her in death in 1990.
Darlene worked for Jockey for 25 years.
Darlene enjoyed playing bingo, occasional casino trips, watching the game show network, going up north, playing on her iPad and listening to polka music.
Darlene is survived by her daughter Luanne Lindow, her sons James (Connie) Peterson and Jeffrey Peterson, her grandchildren Jason (Jennifer) Lindow, Nick (Jenna) Lindow, Tammy (Josh) Follis, Chad (Jasmine) Smith, Aimee Smith, Andrew Renner, Michael Boyd, Tyler Peterson and Samantha Peterson and her eight great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a son Alvin Peterson Jr., a daughter Gayle Smith, sons-in-law LeRoy Lindow and Clem Smith and her three brothers Bob, Dick and Rodney Smoot.
A Celebration of life for Darlene will be held on Friday, April 8th at 6:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
