Eviegay T. Granner, 83, of Bristol, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Sunday, July 30, 2023 at her residence.
She was born on December 17, 1939 to the late Everett R. and Charlotte G. (Scott) Wickham in Waukegan, IL. She was educated in the schools of Libertyville, IL.
Eviegay was the owner and operator of A Total Look Hair Design in Libertyville for many years, she specialized in wig and hair pieces, as a three-time cancer survivor she was passionate about volunteering for the cancer society. Giving classes to show woman how to apply makeup during and after chemotherapy treatments, fitting countless cancer and alopecia survivors and fighters with wigs and hair pieces to help them feel their very best during their lowest points and struggles. Treating them with kindness and a knowledge only someone who has been though the same situation would understand.
Eviegay loved horses, all animals and watching birds. She worked with the Great Dane Recuse and the German Shepherd Recuses, saving the lives of many dogs over the years that otherwise would not have found a loving home.
Eviegay is survived by her children Sheryl (Tim) Carstens, Jacci (Don) Varner III, Denise (Glenn) Coulter and Brent Granner, her eight grandchildren and her five great grandchildren.
Private Family Services for Eviegay will be held.
