Tony Slaughter, 63, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Hospital.
He was born on December 21, 1959 to the Tony and Rosemary (Egger) Slaughter in Illinois. He was educated in Kenosha and received his GED from Gateway Technical College.
Tony entered the US Navy and honorably discharged.
Tony worked as a machinist at Great Neck Saw Manufacturing in Memphis, TN for several years.
Tony attended United Pentecostal Church while in Kenosha and Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church while in Memphis.
Tony enjoyed Ham Radio’s, collecting radio’s, was a history and astronomy buff and was like by all of his coworkers.
Tony is survived by his daughter Virginia “Jennie” (Steve) Herek, five grandchildren and numerous brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his wife Cindy and a son Fred Frei.
A Celebration of Life for Tony will be held on Wednesday, September 6th at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
