Sue Pryse, 89, of Kenosha passed away on November 9, 2023, at Casa del Mare.
Sue was born on August 14, 1934, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Theodore and Bernice (Rasmussen) Ludwig. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Sue married Alvin Pryse Jr. on June 14, 1963, in Kenosha. She was an elementary teacher for many years. Sue was a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, cooking, baking but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Steven (Kim Imroth) Pryse of Mount Pleasant; brother, Dr. Theodore (Judy) Ludwig of Pewaukee; grandchildren, Rachelle (Joe) Collins & Heather Pryse; also included are her great-grandchildren, Evalynn & Loghan. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her daughter, Christine Sue Pryse.
The family would like to thank all of Sue’s caregivers at Casa del Mare and Hospice Alliance for their support.
Memorials in memory of Sue can be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
