Patricia Cholak, 84, of Kenosha passed away on November 24, 2023, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital.
Patricia was born at home on December 3, 1938, in Red Mound, WI, the daughter of the late Theodore and Eleanor (Holt) Hase. She was educated in the schools of Vernon County. Patricia married Cecil Heal in May of 1955. In August of 1967 she married Michael Cholak who proceeded her in death. She was a homemaker and a self-employed caregiver for many years. She owned and operated a home for disabled Veterans for over 30 years. Patricia was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Her hobbies included traveling, gardening, bowling, live music and theater events, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen and husband James (Mike) Jefferson of Pleasant Prairie, William (Terry) Heal of MT, Michael and wife Julie Cholak of Kenosha; brothers, Keith Hase of Viroqua, Alan and wife (Gail) Hase of CA, Steven and wife Jeanette Hase of Viroqua; sister, LuAnn and husband (Chip) Coenan of WI; also included are her 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 1 great-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She also leaves behind her loving companion Gary Kerley.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, son, Ernest; sister, Linda Bekkum and her brother, Theodore “Ted” JR.
