Ruth Ann Rohde, 79, of Kenosha passed away on January 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Ruth was born on July 3, 1944, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Casimir and Margaret (Fairbanks) Pivovar. She graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1963. Ruth married Larry Rohde on October 15, 1966. She was employed as a CNA at Saint Catherine’s Hospital and Hospitality Manor Nursing Home for over 30 years. Her hobbies included bowling, going to car shows, baking banana bread, playing cards but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Larry Rohde of Kenosha; children, Mary (Dale) Sax , John Rohde, Brenda (Todd) Marcelain, Tina (Kyle) Fonk; grandchildren, Tisha (Michael) Ryan, Tiffany (Shayne) Carls, Morgan (Brent) Tate, Payton Sax, Kazimir Rohde, Canyon Marcelain, Maranda Marcelain, Mason Marcelain, Delilah Marcelain, Finley Fonk; great-grandchildren, Rowen, Reece, Stella, Marley, Donovan, Weston, Brielle and Camille; Siblings, Margaret Gertz, Jane Reynolds, Terri Schlitz, Tom (Jayne) Pivovar, Dorothy (Mike) Myren; sister-in-law Jean Pivovar and brother-in-law Jerry LaCosse; and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Pivovar, Joseph Pivovar and her sister, Carol LaCosse.
A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Tuesday January 30, 2024, from 12:00PM-2:00PM with funeral services to follow immediately at 2:00PM.
