Linda L. Stumpf, age 74, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, in Pleasant Prairie. Daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret (LaGrou) Hollatz, Linda was born on July 20, 1949, in Racine. On February 19, 1972, she was united in marriage to Francis D. Stumpf Jr., who preceded her in death in 1973. In addition to being a homemaker and devoted mother, Linda worked for many years and retired from Chrysler. After her children were grown, Linda delighted in the role of grandmother, forming close bonds with her beloved grandchildren. She was generous of heart and spirit and welcomed everyone into her home. Linda enjoyed gardening (especially with granddaughter Frankie), taking trips to Disneyworld, and could always be found with one of her two favorite drinks—Folger’s coffee or Coca-Cola.
Linda is survived by her son, Tom (Lora) Stumpf; grandchildren, Christopher (Carlee) Stumpf, Frances (Zackary) Stumpf, and Gisele Stumpf; great-grandchild, Gryffin S.; siblings, Robert A. Hollatz and Patricia D. Hollatz; nieces, Beckie (Barry) Miller and Brenda Hollatz; and dear friends, Linda Zaccard and Debra Ogle-Barton. In death, she is reunited with her parents, Arthur and Margaret; husband, Frank; and daughter, Laura Stumpf.
