Phillip T. Wagner, 61, of Kenosha passed away on February 11, 2024 at
Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital, surrounded by loving family and an
amazing group of friends.
Phillip, fondly known as Ty, was born on December 6, 1962 in
Burlington, WI, the son of Shelby Wagner and the late Phillip J. Wagner.
Ty spent his early years growing up in Lake Villa. He graduated
Zion-Benton Township HS and earned a bachelors degree in criminal
justice at Northern Illinois University. Ty married Jennifer Kuehnle on
December 1, 2001 in Las Vegas, NV. He worked in the pharmaceutical
department at Abbott Laboratories for many years. More recently, he
worked as a CNC machine operator at Aludyne. Ty loved to be with
friends, see live music, eat good food, sing karaoke, and always looked
forward to the annual Oktoberfest trip. He was a seasoned traveler and
had visited many countries in Europe including, Germany, Spain, and
the Netherlands. Ty appreciated sports, especially soccer (World Cup)
and the Cleveland Indians. He left his loved ones with endless goofy
stories to share and enjoy the memories of. Ty brought so many people
together and his joyful spirit will live on through those cherished
friendships.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Wagner of Kenosha; children,
Holland Wagner of Kenosha, Landrik Wagner of Kenosha; also included
is his sister, Tara (Ron) Sorrentino of Zion, IL, mother, Shelby Wagner
of Amory, MS, and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews,
and friends. Ty was preceded in death by his father, Phillip J. Wagner
and grandparents, Philip G. and Charlotte Wagner.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
