William “Bill” P. Dolan, 86, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Monday, February 12, 2024 at Brookdale Senior Living.
He was born on March 12, 1937 to the late Francis and Anna (Smith) Dolan in Highland, WI. He was educated in the schools of Highland.
Bill entered the US Army September 7, 1955 and was honorably discharged on September 5, 1958.
On May 5, 1962 he married Patricia Rego at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cazenovia, WI.
Bill worked as a fork truck driver for AMC/Chrysler for 36 years and was a member of UAW Local 72.
Bill was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Bill enjoyed golfing, woodworking and feeding the birds in his spare time Bill was all about family and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his wife Pat, his daughters Kathleen (Blake) Porter, Therese Dolan and Peggy (Dave) Crocker, his grandchildren Dan Crocker, Brandon (Jacklynne) Crocker, Drew (Shannon) Porter, Trevor Porter, Quinn Porter and Timothy Hosner and his great grandchildren Benjamin, Bradley, Ava, Brady, Aubrey and Hayden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a granddaughter Bridgette in infancy, a sister Mary Lou Haase and a brother Jack Dolan.
Funeral Services for Bill will be private. Memorials would be appreciated to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Dementia Research or to Froedtert Brain Cancer Research.
