Carol A. Ruef, 86 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, in Mt. Pleasant, WI.
She was born September 24, 1937, in Bellwood, IL the daughter of the late Wyman B. and Jesse (Hill) Barnes. On February 6, 1960, she married Donald Ruef in Kenosha, WI and he preceded her in death in 2017.
Carol was a housewife and business owner (along with her late husband). She cherished her family and will be missed by many.
Survivors include her sons, Donald (Susan) Torkelson of Racine, WI and Chris (Theresa) Torkelson of Racine, WI; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Carol was preceded in death by a daughter, Joy Sconzert in 2011.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the chapel of Sunset Ridge Memorial Park, 4300 Green Bay Rd., Kenosha, WI.
