Steven C. Colp, 73, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 26, 2024 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.
He was born on April 23, 1951 to the late Charles and Darlene (Gauthier) Colp in Waukegan, IL. He was educated in the schools of Waukegan.
In August of 1974 he married Krista Grayson at United Methodist in Zion, IL. She preceded him in death in February of 1999. He married Lena Zhou in January of 2014.
Steven worked as a mold maker for Anchor Hocking for many years, until they closed, then he went to work at Abbott Laboratory’s for many years, retiring from there.
Steven was an avid Packers fan, enjoyed fishing and watching TV. He was a hardworking man.
Steven is survived by his daughter Rachel (Ron) Spang, his wife Lena, his grandchildren Jake Colp, Ben, Ali and Katie Spang and his siblings Bev McPhearson, Sandra (Mike) Heinz, Jeff (Patty) Colp and Rick (Barb) Colp.
He is preceded in death by his sisters Carol Ladwig and Bonnie Hall and a brother Randy Colp.
Funeral Services for Steven will be held on Saturday, May 4th at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
