Sally Ricker passed into the arms of her waiting Lord peacefully on Friday afternoon, May 3rd, 2024.
Sally resided at Casa Del Mare in Kenosha and was 91 years old. Her children were at her bedside as she passed into eternity. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Dwain Ricker, her son Lynn M. Ricker, sisters Corine Englehardt and Mary Wedelsted, and brothers Warren Englund and Bernard “Buzz” Englund.
Sally is survived by her son, Douglas (Brenda) Ricker, her daughter Linda (Tom) Ricker, and six grandchildren: Justin Ricker, Cara Luecht, Kelly Johnson, Jonathan Edwards, Jay Ricker, and Emily Ricker. She is also survived by her brother, Lee Englund, her sister, Anne Lubkeman and seventeen Great Grandchildren.
She last worked as a surgical equipment tech at Kenosha Memorial Hospital. Sally loved to crochet, do word puzzles, cook for her family and worship her Lord. She will be remembered for her tenacious spirit, her love of life and never-ending appetite for chocolate.
A special thank you to the caregivers in the memory care unit of Casa Del Mare. Your unending expressions of love will forever be remembered.
A private memorial service will be held for Sally at a later date.
