Alan Joseph Hould, age 95, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Grande Prairie Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Hancock, MI on October 5, 1928, he was the son of Arthur and Jessie (Alain) Hould. Alan graduated from Dollar Bay High School, Class of 1946.
Alan married his childhood sweetheart Helen Clements on June 18, 1949, at St. Francis Church in Dollar Bay, MI.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii Catholic Church.
Alan was employed with Eaton Corporation/Dynamatic for 38 years, where he built transformers/circuit boards, retiring in 1991. While employed at Dynamatic he worked part time as a custodian for Harmony Hall and retired from there in 1993. Following his full retirement, he then took a part time job with Sports Physical Therapy, retiring in 2009.
He was a well-liked, devoted and dedicated employee. As a result, Alan was able to provide a comfortable living for his family.
Above all, Alan absolutely loved and cherished being in the surroundings of his entire family. He enjoyed working in the yard and attending his grandchildren’s school and sporting activities.
Alan was a devoted, loving husband and father, a supportive brother and uncle, caring grandfather and great grandfather, a dear friend and kind neighbor. He is survived by his children, Susan (Bill) Letsom, Jane (Tom) Stone, Chris (Dina) Hould and Karen (Mark) Hauschel; his 12 grandchildren, Kelly (Ron) Schildt, Stacy (Jacob) Dosemagen, Jennifer (Mitch) Hayes, Eric (Kaitlyn) Stone, Haley Hould, Andrew (Alyssa) Tenuta, Adam (Rachel) Hould, Nicholas (Naomi) Tenuta, Gabrielle Tenuta, Evan Hould, Jordan Hauschel and Alex Hauschel; his 9 great grandchildren, Colton Schildt, Madelynne Dosemagen, Kylie Schildt, Davis Dosemagen, Theodore Tenuta, Benson Tenuta, Vera Tenuta, Isabella Tenuta and Nora Stone.
In addition to his parents, Alan was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen Hould and his siblings, Joan Atkin, Marcella Ogorodnik and John Hould.

A visitation for Alan will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI.
There will be a prayer service honoring the life of Alan at 5:00 p.m.
