Elizabeth (Betty) Marie DeSanto, 83, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Casa Del Mare surrounded by her family.
She was born in Superior, WI, on January 14, 1941, the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Yehle) Buss. She attended local schools and graduated from Superior Cathedral High School.
On June 20, 1964, she married Thomas DeSanto at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church in Superior, WI and soon after they moved to Kenosha. Betty and Tom were married for 52 years before his passing in 2016.
Betty devoted her life to her family, creating a warm and loving home. Betty provided day care for many families, including her own grandkids. The grandkids have wonderful memories of playing with Grandma in the park and of her making their favorite lunches. She spent countless hours working in her yard. After moving to Casa Del Mare, she become a favorite of the staff and enjoyed crafts and activities with her friends.
Betty is survived by her three children, Tony (Debbie) of Kenosha, Debbie Binninger of Kenosha and Kathy (Chuck) Diel of Kenosha; four grandchildren, Jenni (Kenton) Dosemagen, Johnny (Melissa) Roberts, Heather Roberts-DeSanto and Kaycee Diel: six great-grandchildren, Aiden, Ariana, Grayson, Parker, Everett and Izabelle.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Francis Buss and Genevieve Carlson, and son-in-law Jayson Binninger.

Memorial Visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Tuesday June 4, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately at St. George Cemetery.
